14th Jan 2009 - A Blog Revival?
Calling all Jubilate people! Remember the days when everyone blogged? I absolutely loved reading the debriefs after big events. And that's what it's all about, isn't it? Having your words heard by everyone else! So I'll go first. Check me out at: kurufurudo.blogspot.com And, if you want your blog publicised, drop a tag and let me know so I can include it in our list. Cheers, Cliff |

Christmas Midnight: Old skool offertory hymn, Clifford's favorite. This was supposed to be combined with another song, but there wasn't a need - wasn't as packed as it usually is during Christmas Midnight. =(

| When A Child Is Born |

Christmas Midnight: Yet another impromptu solo, this time, from Steffi. Irene on the emotional soliloquy, and Steffi again on the ending.

Hi all, Apologize for the last minute notice for the cancellation of practice this evening. Wasn't feeling too well to conduct practice. Will see you all @ 9.30am. Don't forget: Wear formal (yet colorful) for tomorrow's choir phototaking session. |
|
Hello people, first things first, i'd just like to convey a message from Brother Anthony. He happened to attend the 10am mass last sunday and he said that our choir sounded good, he asked to keep up the good work and to continue to work hard. So yes people, keep up the good job! You've seen it for yourselves, we didnt have a full choir on sunday and yet we sounded good. We've already got the sparks in us and all we need to do is to get the fire burning! So lets just continue to work hard and aim to accomplish the goals that we have set for ourselves. Secondly, this coming sunday after mass, there will be a phototaking session for our choir. This photo will be published in the church magazine. Fr Khoo has requested that we wear something appropriate, preferrably not t-shirts. I was thinking that we should standardise it and wear formal. But knowing the weather, i think most of you might feel very warm in it, so suggestions anyone? Thirdly. At 11.30am after mass this sunday, the youth group will be having another youth prayer meet, and we have been invited to join them in prayer, worship and fellowship. So do try to come down. Last but not least, practice this saturday evening. Please be in church by 7.30pm sharp. If you cant make it down that evening please let me know. Alright thats all for now. |
|
hello people, just to let all of you know, this coming saturday's practice has been canceled because several people cant make it. So please be punctual on sunday morning! 9.30AM SHARP! If you foresee that you'll wake up late on sunday morning and need a morning call/foresee that you will be late, please inform me by friday night. Thank you =) |

We always had a problem with it. We talked about commitment and responsibility and I hope we are able to live by what we promised each other. If we want to establish ourselves well, let us start with self-discipline. I do not wish to resort to punishment, scolding or even monetary fines just so as to ensure everyone's on the 'right' behavior or coming for prac/mass on time. I know it is not right coz firstly we are a Church group and secondly, each of you is old enough to decide what's right and wrong and I believe all of you should be treated like a young adult. We need your cooperation in everything we do as a Choir. Without you, without your commitment - Jubilate! is nothing. |
