14th Jan 2009 - A Blog Revival?
Calling all Jubilate people! Remember the days when everyone blogged? I absolutely loved reading the debriefs after big events. And that's what it's all about, isn't it? Having your words heard by everyone else! So I'll go first. Check me out at: kurufurudo.blogspot.com And, if you want your blog publicised, drop a tag and let me know so I can include it in our list. Cheers, Cliff |

Christmas Midnight: This was an impromptu arrangement of this beautiful carol, done but a day before Christmas Eve. Kudos to Aloy and Josh for being super brave to take this on, last minute. =)

Christmas Midnight: Medley of the Year, 'Ding Dong Merrily on High' and 'Good King Wenceslas', graciously brought to you by Irene! =)

Christmas Midnight: Very grand rendition of O Come All Ye Faithful.
|
| All Man's Labour Can Produce |

Christmas Midnight: Old skool offertory hymn, Clifford's favorite. This was supposed to be combined with another song, but there wasn't a need - wasn't as packed as it usually is during Christmas Midnight. =(

| When A Child Is Born |
|
Christmas Midnight: Yet another impromptu solo, this time, from Steffi. Irene on the emotional soliloquy, and Steffi again on the ending.
|
| Hark The Herald Angels Sing |

Christmas Midnight: Another grand rendition of this timeless classic. So nice to hear the whole congregation behind us!

Carolling 2009: Caroling with Jubilate on 12, 13, 19 & 20 Dec 2009. Madness, but in a nice way.

Hi my fellow 'comrades'. Fingers are itching so decided to type an entry to address everyone. It's been a long while since I typed an entry to the Choir without writing any instructional stuff. :) So, months and months have gone by and our choir schedule has been nothing short of a crazily hectic and suffocating one. I've been neglecting on a lot of other matters since taking on all these responsibilities and really, for that, I'm sorry and I thank YOU all for bearing it and still going strong till this day. Now that Holy Week and Easter Sunday have past, the amount of church activities that is expected of our commitment will probably remain stagnant for awhile, thus we will now have more time to ourselves! To celebrate our 'freedom' - we will be having our Jubilate's Day of Fun this coming Saturday. The time, venue and other details will be duly announced by the organizing team soon. Please keep a lookout for it and RSVP! And it's also about time we acknowledge our 'new' members officially - Aaron, Tessa, Natalie, Joshua & Trudy and make them feel the luuuuurve. (Apparently, Cliff wants to be part of the newbies. He claims, 'I've not been welcomed officially') So yes. We've been too busy and we're sorry to have neglected you guys. TO EVERYONE IN JUBILATE: You've all worked hard for the past half a year and it's about time we reward ourselves. We shared our ups and downs together. We sing our hearts out for some masses, go out-of-tune in other masses. Screwed up stuff here and there but nonetheless, still here for each other. So thank you for your patience and endurance, your determination to do this right. I hope to see all of you this Saturday. :) |
